Igniting Gods Word
Igniting God's word is putting the Bible in perspective. Reading it with relevance to today and applying it to life. The sessions are happening on the 3, 10, 17, 24 November 2008 from 7.30 to 9.00pm and will be led by Chris Peck. It will take place at Bouverie Court, Northampton and will cost £10.00 per person for all 4 sessions.

Multi Faith World
This course is concentrating on the presence of and Engaging in a Multi Faith World. It is a 3 day training course happening at St Philip’s Centre in Leicester. The objectives for this courses are how we learn from other faiths but also be aware of our own distinctive identities, what is an appropriate approach to mission within a multi-faith world, how do we account for the evident goodness and piety we see in people of other faiths, what of issues of truth… of grace… of salvation. These courses are planned on:
1. 6th, 13th and 20th November 2008
2. 3rd, 4th and 5th February 2009
3. 19th, 20th and 21st May 2009
4. 13th, 20th and 27th October 2009

Pastoral Visiting
Led by Liz Holdsworth and Andrew Rayment and for anyone who is exploring a pastoral ministry, or who is already a Pastoral Assistant. Each session will focus on a particular area of visiting eg parish families; bereavement; hospitals; prison visiting. Speakers include those currently engaged in such roles. It is happening on Tuesdays 18, 25 November & 2, 9 December at 7.30pm to 9.30pm. Venue tbc. £10 per person. It will be held at Bouverie Court, Northampton.
Go for Growth
A course to help you build your confidence that God has a purpose for you and to hear and respond to that purpose. It is happening on Tuesdays 6, 13, 20, 27 January 7.30pm to 9.30pm at St Peter’s Oundle. £10 per person.

Counselling Skills
An AQA course, Counselling Skills for Pastoral & Spiritual Settings will be run for six weekends January – June 2009 by the Institute of Pastoral Counselling and the Chaplaincy Department of the Norfolk & Waveney Mental Heath NHS Foundation Trust.
There will be a fee for a Church/Faith Group/Voluntary Sector £490 with a reduced fee where more than one person applies from the same organisation; Statutory Agency £550.
